Fossil Women's Shay Boot

Fossil Women's Shay Boot in Black size 7.

I wish the curve that leads up to the shaft was the product pictures on the website!

They are well made considering the "made in china" label. The leather is decent and the grip on the bottom of the booties is practical as in you won't slide down the escalator.  They haven't fallen apart after a few wears... so quality wise they pass for craftsmanship.

Design & Fit:
I want to like them but they were not meant for my feet/legs.
They are true to size and the width was good.
However the shaft is too wide and stiff and makes walking a bit awkward.
The booties are not padded, and the sole is thin.  I recommend gel inserts or custom foot support inserts + thick cushion socks.
The arch support is non existent for high arches.
Avoid if you have thin feet with long toes because the shoe bends at the wrong point for long toes.
Probably not suitable for driving, reduces foot movement and precision.

Here is a photo of them as new.

Rae Morris Brushes

Brush 8: Medium Precision Shader
Soft, no scratchy feeling when blending.

Brush 9: Detail Precision Shader
A bit stiffer than Brush 8.  A lot softer than a mac 219.

Together with postage they cost $61.00 AUD from the Rae Morris website.

If you look at the version they have on the website, it looks a lot more tapered and so on.  Like they are styled to form a fine tip.
I purchased from the official website, this is exactly what they looked like when I received them.

They are a mix of cut and uncut (tapered tip) hairs.  I am not sure what kind of hair they are made of but they  are not silky soft like SUQQU, RMK or Laura Mercier brushes, I read somewhere that they are squirrel hair.

I still prefer Laura Mercier eye brushes.  The hair on these are healthier and softer at the same price point.

This is my favourite eyeshadow brush and I own 2.

The photos are cropped from the same photo (they were in frame right next to each other) in case you wanted to know how they compared in size relative to each other.

Addiction By Ayako

Addiction Cheek Stick:

Addiction Eyeshadows:

Silent Scream

Pink Python

The photos didn't turn out very well, couldn't capture the gleam from the sparkles.  I didn't want to mess with the raws too much so I left that alone and cropped.  All pictures were taken in sunlight...comes with harsh shadow :)  I can tell you that the sparkles were a bit blinding at certain angles but so pretty :)

I saw this at my local supermarket and decided to get one.  I didn't really have an option with the color at the time.  I'm guessing this is not a favourite at all because it's the only one left in all the shops that sell this line.

Another not for me product.  The shimmer/glitter is quite gritty and not suitable for my sensitive eyes.

Swatches really well on my arm but I am terrible at taking pictures with it on my arm.  Doesn't look like gold but its shiny.  I think this will be good for illustration texture studies, just doesn't work as makeup for me personally.

Revlon ColorBurst in Soft Nude

Revlon ColorBurst in Soft Nude

This is my first time buying a Revlon product.  I thought I'd try something drugstore.

It looks nice in the tube and swatches evenly on my arm.
However this is terrible on my lips no matter what I try.  This product is not for me.
The color is not good on top of my lip's natural color.
The texture is not something I want on my lips and the coverage is uneven and emphasizes lip lines even if they are not dry. I tried this 5 times... ew every time.
I think I'll stick with high end brands for makeup in general.

If anything I just wanted to swatch it next to my favourite Dior Addict lipstick in Nude 333.
As new, in sunlight

Hada Crie by Hitachi CM-N810-P

Recently I purchased a Hada Crie by Hitachi CM-N810-P.

I got it after reading about it on Cutie Fishball's blog
I was sold and literally looking for a seller for a few hours and settled for one on ebay and it was shipped from Japan within a week and the seller was very nice and helpful.

I think it's an interesting little machine. You need to have 10+ mins to us this.
I didn't get any gross cotton pad results.
Even though I didn't see anything "ew" on the cottons, my skin felt cleaner and pores were noticeably smaller and clean.  To be fair, I rarely wear base makeup.  Once every 2 weeks if that.

When I changed the cleansing mode to strong, my cotton was slightly discolored after days of  clean looking cottons with regular mode.
I got compliments on my skin even though I am sick with a bad cold for weeks.

As I am lazy, I don't always keep at it for 5 mins, I don't use it everyday and I still have good results.

It does the job well, no over hype in my opinion.
It's hygienic, since you throw away the cottons after use unlike a brush head.
Quiet machine, partners won't complain.
Makes mask time a little less boring.
Products are more effective because I am spending time to make it absorb and not pat & smear method then zzzz....

Only problem is this machine is not water proof so you have to be careful. Slightly time consuming if you want to do the whole routine haha.
You will burn through cotton pads (I recommend getting those 5 layer ones and only use 3 layers)

By the way, my Clarisonic Pro hasn't been touched since, it might be body scrub exclusive now.

Update after a few months of use (August to December)

I have been slacking with the usage however I still use this more than 5 times a week.  I haven't had any massive painful pimples since.  *touchwood lol

Battery life is good.  I haven't charged it since.  I only use cleanse mode on high.  Other modes I have only used maybe 20 times.

My clarisonic pro has crapped itself during this time as it no longer charges properly, only had it for 2 years or less.  I charge it and use it once and the battery is flat the next time I want to use it.
